Research supports that spending time in nature and getting some moderate exercise immediately reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, restoring emotional equilibrium.

Utilizing interventions from Somatic and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MCBT) within the beauty of the park allows you to immerse your senses so you can reset and restore your nervous system.

Sessions are 75 minutes.
We meet, walk, choose a spot or spots to stop along the way. Walking while talking may help you process your feelings while practicing being present to your own physical body, something that you may find more difficult to practice in an office setting.

Available for individuals age 12 and up.
Accommodations can easily be made for sight or mobility impaired persons.
In-person “walk and talk” therapy is conducted in Henry Cowell Redwood State Park in Felton, California or elsewhere by arrangement.

Rates:
$200.00 per 75 minute session.

I do not accept insurance at this time. Payment is by Cash or Check.
Electronic Payment is collected via IvyPay, a HIPAA compliant platform using a credit or ATM card.

I do offer a number of sliding scale spots in my practice. Please note that preference is given to teachers, low-income, single parent households, emancipated minors and young people aged 16-26.
